"Rude." He sits on his knees. IT just occured to him that he was wearing his school uniform.

The boy starts setting up his cards. He needs to clear his mind of nothing but the cards...people are going to do this. The boy sighed and started memorizing his cards.

Hibiki sets his cards down in the same way he showed Chi. He looks at it for two seconds before whispering "Done."

The 15 minutes when by smoothly. The boy sat there whispering not only the cards on the floor but also those not in play. He knew all of those in play and those not in play.

Hibiki looks at the boy gathering information from him. He listened to what he was saying and memorized it. He also looked at his body language. Hibiki grins.

The boy stopped and sat up right waiting for the opening poem to start. Once it was read he got into position to strike for the card.

Hibiki swipes the card away. He goes over and picks it up. "I can do that right?"

The guy face palmed. "You see, that is the opening poem it is not one of the one hundred poems. Its from a completely different idea, its a Joka. Its only to be read, not to be taken, since it is not part of the cards." He had a terrible habit of rambling when he was frustrated.

"Then why does it have a card? I thought you take the card?" He had a dumb smile on his face. In actuality, he knew what a Joka was. But if he acted dumb, his opponents would under estimate him. He placed the card back.

He nodded. "Just don't make the same mistake in a tournament or you'll get either disqualified or get a card sent." He said and got ready for the game to start.

Hibiki sits down, waiting patiently.

The card is read and the boy, lets call him Gou, takes the card. He knew that card all too well. Each card was associated to him by something. He barely noticed that it wasn't the usual card reader. It was Etsuko who was reading the cards and her voice was so clear. You could hear the grass sway.

Hibiki sees the reader is Etsuko. He gives her a lazy grin and doesn't move. He didn't want to face her. So let her lose intrest in him. Hibiki was going to throw the match.

She rolled her eyes and put the card down and picked up the next one. She took a deep breath and started the 'chihaya' card. His opponent quickly hit the hard and it made a slam sound.

Hibiki lifts an eyebrow at him, the grin still on his face. He sees Chi and gives her a thumbs up.

She started pulling her hair. What was he doing! He needed to get cards to get better at all.

Hibiki tilts his head. "Time out! I need to speak to my coach." He raises his hand.

Chizu ran over to Hibiki. "What are you doing?!?!" She said in a hushed voice.

"I making Etsuko lose interest in me. Besides, I don't know what to do." He spoke in whispered tones. He lied, he knew exactly what to do.

She slapped him. "You idiot! Get out there and play! Do you want to at least be able to hold your own against others! Do you want to become a master!" She couldn't hold back her anger now.

Hibiki felt tears come to his eyes and he holds his cheek. He starts sniffing. "But...but...."

She stopped yelling and looked at him. She felt bad but he didn't to be serious.

Hibiki wipes the tears away. His eyes are narrowed, and everything childish was gone. He takes off the ears. "Hold these." He walks over and kneels again.

She smiled. Now he was getting serious!

Hibiki listens and watches how Etsuko was going to form her words. He takes the card away. He takes the next three cards after that.
