Chi fist pumped! He was actually pretty good.

He continued this process for while before he decided to go easy on Gou.

He smiled at Hibiki. He had a real talent for Karuta but he decided that he needed to step up his game. For the next few cards he sent 3 to 4 cards at a time flying. They were all like cards. He looked at him and said, "I'm moving my cards." He began shifting the cards from his right corner to his left. He had to make sure he was able to get them before Hibiki.

Hibiki smirks. Gou didn't realize it, but he had just helped Hibiki. He waits patiently for him to finish.

Once Gou was done he got into position to hit all of his cards at once.

Hibiki listens to Etsuko, in that moment, Hibiki use his pattern to his advantage. He swipes all of his cards and Gou's. Every card was placed in such a way to do that.

Gou was drawn a back. Could he do that? He wasn't sure since it never really happened. Was he allowed to attack both territories? Gou completely ignored it and the looked at Hibiki's cards.

"Did I win?" Hibiki had more cards than Gou, and there were no more cards on the field.

"Just because you pushed all the cards off the field that doesn't mean you won." He said and started setting up his cards again.

Hibiki smirks. "Then can you kindly inform me how I win? Because I took all of the cards that you're setting up right now."

"You have to send or take all the cards from your side. Once they are gone, you win." He said and his cards were set up again.

"No. That would mean it was a tie, just. Ughhhhhh. Sensei! Chi is not a good teacher. Have Estuko teach him." Gou got up and began talking to Etsuko.

"Hey! Chi s a good teacher!" Hibiki glares at him.

Gou looked at Chi. She usually did really good at teaching others. She wasn't hurt by the words because she had set this entire thing up. She wanted him to be trained by someone better than herself.

Hibiki frowns. He stands up and leaves.

Everyone just watches Hibiki leave and became very confused.

He walks to an ice cream shop and gets his usual order. He sits by the window and eats, feeling relaxed from the cold.

Etsuko bowed her head to everyone and ran out to find Hibiki. She had no idea where he went.

"I forgot my ears." He pats his head. Hibiki stands up and leaves the shop. He walks in the direction of the society.

Etsuko sees him and grabs his shoulder.

Hibiki turns around, smile on his face, until he sees who it is. His eyes narrow and he pulls away from her, walking away.

She looked at him softly. "You've got real potential! We just need to shape and twist it." She said and couldn't keep her eyes off him.

"With a place as strict as that? No. Trying to learn was a mistake." He chuckles. "The only reason I joined was because I wanted to be your friend. My fault for being to ambitous, I guess."

She was frustrated. "How is it strict! Its perfect there! Its not like some other societies I've been to! It's actually balance and harmony when you get used to playing! I can show you. I'll teach you to the best of my ability." She was fired up now, she was going to help him become a master.
