A beautiful Game (FINISHED; CLOSED)

"Why do the cherry's new-blown blooms...Scatter like restless thoughts?" The reader paused it was coming down to the bitter end of the tournament. Not one breath taken. Only the breath of the two opponents was left. The girl who could careless about this silly child's game and a boy who would do anything to win. She was easily the most liked for this tournament by showing up in traditional clothes and a calm demeanor. Her kimono had attracted much attention with its bright colors and vivid designs. The syllable was going to be spoken. Etsuko got into position and waited to strike. "Thou-"

"Thank you very much for this match." Etsuko bowed to her opponent and then to the reader. "Thank you very much for this match." She had just won her third tournament. All that was left was the Queen Qualifiers and then the Queen title. It was going to be her's and then her sister's. She sat back up and eyed the crowd. Her sister waved. She was more than happy to see that her sister had won Class B. They would be competing against each other next year. Though, maybe she would drop it to focus on college entrances. Let her sister meet her at the qualifiers or Queen tournament.

She stood up took her towel and walked out. She would get her trophy and title after something to eat. Her sister grabbed her sleeve and tugged. There were lots of people in the hall, too many than the usual. Was something going on? Did the tournament go over and these people were waiting out here? She could care less but she was curious.

She began speaking to her sister softly and the little girl ran off to get her sister something to eat. She sat down and fixed her Kimono and traditional skirt. Etsuko and her sister were the only two dressed this fancy. It was apparent they believed they had already won the tournaments and were going to be Queen. She laid her head in her hands and dozed off to sleep.

Her little ran back over to Etsuko and began tugging at her sleeve. Her sister quickly woke up and her sister handed her the chocolate bar. Etsuko quickly grabbed the candy bar began to eat it. She gulped it down happily and regained her energy. She quickly stood up walked back to the Karuta tournament room. She sat back down on the straw mats waiting for the titles to be given out.

The announcer began to speak once again. "I will now award Estuko with title of Class A Champion." Etsuko bowed and smiled wide. Now her dreams of going to become Queen was coming closer and closer. She just had to go to the qualifiers and defeat all them old and young women as soon as possible. She barely noticed the cat-eared boy but his years caught her eye.

She looked away. He was just a crazy Otaku. Wasn't very interesting to her. She could care less. She bowed and everyone clapped. She was almost there, but so was her sister...

She walked and sat back into her spot next to her sister. They gave each other high-five's at the double win. She kept her eyes trained on the cat boy from the corner of her eyes. She didn't want him to know she was watching him.
