After the stretching was done they lined up for dynamics. All of them quickly moved down the rows doing some funny looking things. They walked on their heels on the sides of their feet. He smiled once everyone finished. He began talking to a short girl and patted her on the head. He looked over to Mai and waved, though the fangirls scream from thinking it was for them.

Mai watched as he talked with the short girl. I wonder if she's a friend of his? I'll have to remember to introduce myself, she thought as she waved back figuring that he was waving to everyone.

Everyone went to their respective track specialities. He went to Pole vault and Shinobu went to the sprinters area.

She watched as he walked over to the pole vaulting area not really paying attention to anyone else

He made sure everyone did as they were taught and then it was his turn. Many of the fan girls screamed but he ignore them as some of the other track people told them to shut their traps.

Mai clapped politely every time someone did a good vault. And she saw that Horai was up she was excited and she wanted him to do well. However she was startled when the girls started screaming. She wondered as she watched them get scolded if they were some of the girls Horai had warned her about.

Kumiko was on the edge of her seat, cheering for Jack

He vaulted an landed perfectly. The coach praised him and practice went by without a problem. When Horai was done he came out changed into his school uniform.

Mai was waiting not far from the exit patiently. As she waited she start thinking about what song she wanted to sing at karaoke. Since she was a very average when it came to singing she didn't want to sing one that was too challenging but didn't want to sing a song that was boring and uninteresting either.

He walked over to her and grabbed her hand. "Hello. Mai-Chan." He smiled at her, he was so happy.

Mai had been so lost in thought she hadn't even noticed him until her grabbed her hand and said something. She was a bit started but when she saw it was him she relaxed and smiled. "Oh hello, Horai-kun. Great job today. You did very well. "

He blushed and rubbed the back of his neck with his free hand. "N-Not really...Its in my blood..." He was very humble, it was all natural talent.

"Really? Hm either way I think you were amazing. If it's okay I'd like to go to more of your practices and maybe even one of your track meets,"she said a blushing a bit. "Well as long as I'm not distracting you."

He nodded. "Th-that would be great!"

"Okay then I'll come by after class next time." she said excited about going to see him practice more. Just then she remembered him talking to a girl during practice. "Oh before I forget, can you introduce me to your friend? You know that girl you were talking to before after everyone was done stretching? She's one of your friends right?"

He nodded. "Her name is Arata Shinobu. She's my ex but we're really great friends still."

Mai looked a bit surprised. Even in the relationships that had ended on good terms, she couldn't remember one person she broke up with that she was still friends with. "Well I've never seen that but I guess it's possible. Have you guys been friends for a long time?"

"Yes. We've grown up together. She's also best friends with my cousin." He wasn't sure to actually say to her.

"Aww that's nice. So you guys must be very close." She nodded then smiled,"I bet you were really cute as a kid. I'm kind of jealous."

He chuckled. "When you come by some day I'l show you the photo album." He smiled and squeezed her hand.

"I's like that." She said squeezing his hand back. She wasn't sure why but she found comfort in their intertwining fingers. "Do you want to head over to karaoke now? I have to warn you I'm not very good at singing but I'm not too awful."

He nodded. "Lets head over, and don't worry I'm not too good either."

Suddenly Hiru had the upper hand in the fight, flipping his sword around in a sharp arc that caught Jack in the ankle, making him stumble, which Hiru then used to flip him over his shoulder to the ground, where jack lay stunned.
"HA, you over extended that last swing."
Jack swore in irish.

"When it's good that it'll just be the two of us.," she said walking beside him still holding his hand.

"Don't mind my terrible singing ability Mai-Chan." He said and put his free hand by his side on his bag. He loved holding her small hand.

Momoko gasped loudly. "Oh dear lord..."
