Demon King (Open)

Sora Moto was a peculiar sight. He was a young Japanese boy, wearing clothes designed for winter, and blasting his ears out with music. Sora didn't have a parent or guardian near him either, so that sparked suspicion. He was given the occasional glance, seeing as he was wearing winter clothes in a really warm place. But other than that, he was undisturbed.
Sora looks out the window, looking down at the clouds. The P.A. said that they were going to land soon. It was time then.
Sora reaches into his pocket and pulls out a golden piece of paper. It was a list, written in blood red letters. To him it looked like Japanese, but to others it looked like scribbles.
You are the 13th candidate for the title of DEMON KING. In four days, you and twelve other demonic creatures will fight for this title. The rules are as stated.
1. All Battles have to occur at Night.
2. Battles can only be started if a demon is challenged. The challenged has to accept.
3. Summoning is not allowed. To have servants, look at rule 4.
4. There are two ways to win a battle: Last one standing, or one of the parties surrender. If one of the participants surrender, they must become the servant of the winner.
5. Except for servants, who are not bound by the rules, no outside help is allowed.
The violations of these rules will result in immediate death. May the odds ever be in your favor.
Sora looks at the paer for a few more seconds. This seemed like a mixture between the Hunger Games and the Holy Grail War. He sighs. The only reason he was here was because, as the new head of the Moto family, he had to fight to keep the title. It was madatory.
The plane lands and Sora departs. He looks for his name, which would lead to his guide. Everyone kept giving him strange looks, probably due to his clothes. Sora drags his suitcase around, looking for the guide.

The young girl sat on a bench reading a novel she had been sent to find her husband and battle in the Demon King tournament. Of course it was more of a man's title, but she was sure they could change it to Demon Queen for her of course.

Sora's guide was pulling him along, trying to find the exit. Sora's eyes start drifting, and they land on the girl sitting on the bench. He blinks. Why did he feel such...darkness from her? She looked cute....He facepalms. No! He follows his guide again.

She barely noticed him but she was overwhelmed by a sense of sweet emotions. She had looked up at him just barely catching his eye and then began reading again.

~Time Skip~
3 days before the tournament started. Sora was in his new house, laying on his futon. He looks up at the ceiling. His jacket was in the corner of the room.
Who was that girl? He had been told that Demons don't usually take physical form in this land. And that darkness was definetly a demonic sign. His eyes narrow. Was she a part of the tourney? He didn't want to have to fight her. He raises his gloved hand and stares at it. Sora had always felt like the Moto family had an unfair advantage by being dragons. They were the most powerful demons after all. And if just being a dragon wasn't enough, the head of the Moto family was given the ability to use the powers of Ryuu, the most powerful dragon that ever lived. Sora clenches his fist. If Nee-san was still alive, she would've been head. She would've been in this situation, and she deserved it. Nee-san worked hard to be the head, up to her death. Sora feels a tear roll down his cheek. He wipes it off quickly.
"I'll win this for you Nee-san, and no one else."

Chizu began to keep an eye out for everyone and everything. She felt herself feel demonic presences but has a hard time telling which in the tournament. She was sure that boy was but she didn't know for sure. He gave her the impression of superior power and strength. It made her melt a little every time, she wanted to see him again, to feel his power overwhelm her once again.

Sora sighs. He had school tomorrow, so he might as well explore the town. He grabs his jacket and leaves the house. He starts towards the main part of town, where the shops were. He would shiver every time he felt a demonic presence, but luckily enough none attacked. It must've been Ryuu's influence. Sora stops and looks around. The same darkness that was at the airport was here. Sora spins in a circle, and his eyes land on the girl. It was the same girl from the day before. It seemed like she hasn't noticed him yet. Now was his chance. He turns and walks away, trying to blend in to the crowd.

She became overwhelmed by demonic energy and turned toward it. Just as she turned she just barely caught him running off. She started to slowly began to follow him and smiled widely. He would become her husband if she had to make him a slave. She had to have that overwhelming power in her grasp.

Don't look back, don't look back...Sora turns back. The girl is following him, a smile on her face. Crap! He turns and looks at the shops. There had to be one where she wouldn't enter. He notices an arcade. He smiles. Yes! He full on runs, glad that people started clearing a way for him. He enters the arcade and quickly closes the door behind him.

She lost him quickly after making eye contact but she was going to find him. Where would a teenage boy hide? She thought about and then it clicked. She stalked toward the arcade.

Sora freezes. People. There were a whole bunch of boys from the ages of 10 to 18 playing retro games on old machines. He slaps his forehead. Now was not the time! He was being stalked! He slaps his forehead again. If she was dedicated, she would follow him in here. Think, think, think....He smiles. Human laws were beautiful at times like these. He walks towards the boy's bathroom and walks in, locking himself in one of the stalls. Now he waits.

She slammed the door open and began looking for him pushing everyone out of the way. She had to find him. He couldn't have up and disappeared! Well, yet again he might of.

He shivers, feeling the darkness again. He just had to wait here. In this form, he was defenseless. He begins tapping his leg.

She keep looking for him. She had to find him, she could feel his power but where was he. She could feel him but couldn't see him.

Sora was shivering so bad, he was scared he would get hypothermia. Why was his sense power shivering? He blows hot air on his hands, still gloved, and rubs them together. Maybe if he....He gets up and walks out of the bathroom. He puts his headphones over his ears and walks towards the exit. Thankfully, no one noticed his shivering. He opens the door and walks out, feeling the shvering disappear. He sighs.

She saw him and began to slowly lurk forward. She was going to get him. This was going to be perfect...

Sora feels the darkness again. Now was his chance. He spins and ducks under the girl, going back into the arcade.

She followed after him, he wasn't getting out of her grip. She would have him.

Sora turns and holds his hand out. In Japanese he says, "The tourney does not start until three days from now. You cannot touch me."

She was drawn back from his comment. "You think this? Has anything to do with the tournament." She was truly shocked. How stupid was he to tell her he was in it.

"Yes. Why else would you chase me?" Sora's eyes narrow. She would've found out sooner or later that he was in the tourney anyways.

She signed loudly. "This is about marriage! I'm going to marry you..." She whispered getting closer to him, lightly pressing her chest against his arm.

Sora blinks and moves back a little. He rubs his ears. "Could you repeat that?"

"M-a-double r-i-a-g-e. Marriage." She said it slowly so he could hear it properly.

Sora's face is bright red. "Marriage?!" He presses his index fingers together. "We don't know each other though......" He shakes his head. "Who told you this?!"
