Akemi is very pretty she has super long purple hair that is curled toward the bottoms. She seems to have a lean build but surprisingly she doesn’t have lots of muscle like most. She does notice her hair gets in the way sometimes so she will put it up for more dirty work. Her shell-bra is a sea-cup. Her tail is also a pretty purple that matches, well her color scheme. She will at home wears lots and lots of magical and glittery adornments that were common in Atlantis. Her Granpaps usually laughs at her a lot and tells her how much of the old Queen she looks like. She usually never wears the super frilly and fancy dressed like many in the kingdom does as she finds it too “mainstream.” She wants to wear the traditional clothes of her people and only wear the finest dresses. She has a small mole under her eye and her eyes are big and doe like. She is able to melt even the coldest of hearts with those eyes. She seems to have a traditional way of thinking, as she finds a mermaid should respect her body, so she hasn’t had sex in all of her life, which is odd because most mermaids by now are married, had kids, and done with all types of working unless they love their job.

Personality:
She is very much a great girl, though of course she doesn’t take nobody’s shit. She was raised that way. She seriously does not put up with anyone’s shit, like seriously, not even the Princes of her kingdom. She does get very serious when she has her mind on something, more importantly she’s been searching for the lost Kingdom of Atlantis her homeland from where her Granpaps escaped from. She becomes worked up over the smallest things, mainly when someone tells her of where Atlantis is and she flips asking them EVERYTHING you could think about. Akemi is not one big on getting sad and such she seems so happy all the time, or seriously scary angry. She dreams of a super cheesy romance with a beautiful merman that she could raise a beautiful family with and be Queen ruling the sea for all eternity. She really does want that cheesy romance though.

Background:
Akemi was born on a nice sunny day, not that that shit mattered in the ocean. Actually it kind of does since mermaids usually gestate and all that on land since it is like 1000% more safe.
From a young age she was interested in unlocking the secrets left behind by the merfolk of the past, in particular she wanted to reclaim her homeland, it had been 400 years, surely it was safe to explore there now? Yeah totally. Totally safe. She had a pleasant and uneventful childhood, and was given higher education by the scholars of her city. Some of them were also Children of Atlantis, there were only about 75 left in the whole world. Her family accounted for three of them at the present.

More recently she has been getting ready for a very important expedition, after years of searching there is finally concrete evidence where Atlantis is. No one knows why it could no longer be found, but all of a sudden, people were starting to remember, after talking to the elder COA’s she had pinned the location to a hundred mile area, and a giant city is not hard to find in a set area.

Close relationships:
She was very close to her Granpaps who used to tell her great stories of Atlantis, which needs no introduction. Her mother didn’t approve of the stories, but tried not to stifle her daughter’s dream of archeology. So they too are close. Her father is deceased. Or thats what they tell her.

She seems to have trouble making any real friends, stubborn, gets too excited, and afraid of the darker parts of the ocean.
