Physical appearance:
Aika has black hair and blue eyes much like her sister Etsuko. She is the size of any seven year old but happens to be a bit stronger than most seven year olds. Due to her small size she is able to get cards from blocks but is unable to protect as well, so she plays offensive Karuta. She has a beauty mark under her eye just like Etsuko. She has nimble fingers and ears that can pick almost every sound.

Personality:
Aika is pretty innoccent and is always striving to be the best she can. She wants to be much like her sister so she does everything to be like her. She also seems to have god complex for her sister. She finds boys to be icky but gets distracted by strong male Karuta players. This seems to either be another god complex or just a baby fetish of her's. She also is super hyper since she is a little kid and crashes easily which is surprisingly odd because she never crashes during Karuta tournaments.

Background:
Aika is from a normal Japanese family. She was raised in a loving home with her mother and father. Her sister was always with her little sister and stuck to her like glue, it was mainly cause her sister is always lonely. They grew up always together and when Aika got interested in Karuta Etsuko decided that she would make her sister's Karuta experience the best she could. Her parents signed them up at a Karuta Society and that's where they spend most of their time.
