Physical appearance:
Arata is very girly looking, though her name wouldn't hint at it. She has sepia-brown hair. It is cut just below her ears and her bangs are cut quite a distance from her eyebrows. She also happens to have pink eyes. Arata is rather small and meek for her age and stands only 5 ft tall. Her weight happens to be 110 lbs. She has very defined legs, core, and arms due to being very athletic. She is captain of the track team at her school. Arata also happens to have a small heart shaped birthmark on her left shoulder blade.

Personality:
Arata is actually very quiet when you first to get to know her, unless she's around her friends. Arata happens to be a little over active when around her friends often taking on the active role of touching, being loud, and making people around her uncomfortable. She's not one to become easily angry or sad but in a drop of a ht will become competitive for no reason. When challenged she would do anything to make sure she would win other than cheating. Since Arata can come of as...odd, she doesn't have many friends and can't seem to make them easily. She wouldn't know what having a crush on someone would like be since she isn't easily attracted to people. When Arata does get mad she becomes very quiet and gets a scowl on her face, sometimes people don't know she's angry because she is usually always quiet anyway. When sad Arata will go somewhere she can be alone to cry so that no one can see her crying and 'being' weak. When someone knows something she doesn't she gets all excited. She also gets anxious when she's going somewhere new.

Background:
Arata is originally from Kyoto but her family moved to Tokyo for better job opportunities, which worked since he was able to open a business that brings in a large number of customers. She is a only child and was supposed to be a boy but was born a girl. Her mother and father being stubborn named her Arata a boy's given name and forced her into sports to become the son they wanted.
