Okay, Mermaid ages made no sense for too long, Classical and I created this simple new system last night.
Under age up this:
True Age = W
Apparent Age = X
Age Rate = Y/1
Puberty = Z
To find out what is what do this
X = W/Y + Z
Example 1, finding apparent age by true age
Chloe is 48, hit puberty at 13, and her age rate is 7
48/7= 6.85
6.85 + 13 = 19.85, round down to 19
SO
True age: 48
Apparent Age: 19
Age rate : 7/1
Puberty: 13
Example 2, finding True Age by Apparent Age
Akemi's apparent age is 18, her age rate is 6.12, and her puberty was 13
18-13=5
5*6.12=30.6
True age: 30
Apparent Age: 18
Age rate : 6.12/1
Puberty: 13
Puberty is when they stopped aging, it is between 11-15, nobles tend to be 12-13, commoners 13-15, and only royals are 11.
Age rate is between 4.5 - 7.5, 7.5 is royals only, nobles are between 7 - 5.5, lower is 5.5 - 4.5. Atlanteans count as one group higher because of their natural longer lifespan. So royal atlantean is actually 8, noble is 7.5-6 and lower is 6 - 5
Here is a screwy one.
Valentinus is 545, but he looks 39, and he hit puberty at 12
39=545/Y + 12
27=545/Y
545/27=Y
Y=20
True Age = 545
Apparent Age = 39
Age Rate = 20/1
Puberty = 12
